New Year, New You
Your friends, your family even your coworkers heard your New Year’s Resolution to lose weight.
Unless you want to eat your words,
it’s time to take action.
*Set an exercise goal you can reach. For example,
by the end of this month. I will walk at least 20 minutes
a day, five days a week.
* When you reach a goal, give yourself a nonfood reward,
such as a new workout CD or a new lunch bag.
*Substitute water for sweetened beverages.
*Eat fruits and veggies for snacks instead of candy, chips and cookies.

Healthy Life Tip:
Don't Smoke. If you do Smoke QUIT. Avoid second hand smoke
Nutrition Activity:
Take 20 or more minutes to eat each Meal. Eat slowly,
chew your food thoroughly , and pause between mouthfuls.
Stress Activity:
Smile 5 times today a 5 different people.
Action Step
Loosen tense muscles with simple stretches several times a day. Reach for the sky, bend and touch your toes, lean from side to side. Repeat.
